Your file and the quote
What file format should I send?
A STEP file (.stp or .step) of the complete assembly. All common CAD packages can export it. A PDF drawing alone is not enough for the automatic estimate. See the preparation guide.
How long does it take to get a price?
The indicative price appears in the app a few minutes after you upload the file. The firm price is confirmed after a technician's check, usually within 2 working days.
Is the online price firm?
No, it is an indicative estimate calculated automatically. The firm price is set once the file has been checked.
Why do you ask for a business email?
To send you the firm price, and to ask you a question if a detail of the part complicates the welding. We do not use it for anything else without your consent.
What if my part is outside your scope?
The app tells you as soon as you upload. Where possible, we point you to a partner workshop. The scope is described on the technical capabilities page.
Confidentiality
Are my files confidential?
Yes. They are used only to calculate your quote and produce your parts. They are stored in Europe and never shared beyond the cutting of your components.
Can you sign a non-disclosure agreement?
Yes, an NDA is available on request, even before you send your files.
How long do you keep my files?
For as long as needed for the quote and production, and then for any repeat orders. You can ask for them to be deleted at any time. Details in the privacy policy.
Manufacturing and quality
What materials do you weld?
Structural steel (S235, S355 type), with MIG/MAG welding. No stainless steel or aluminium for now.
Do I need to supply the cut parts?
No. We have the components laser cut by our partner, or we work with your usual laser cutter.
What is the lead time for a first batch?
During the pilot phase, each confirmed quote carries its own firm lead time. We will publish standard lead times once they have been measured on real production.
How do you inspect the parts?
Dimensional and visual weld inspection before shipping. Procedures follow EN ISO 3834, for which certification is targeted.
What happens if a part is non-conforming?
Report it within a few days of receipt, with photos. If the non-conformity comes from our manufacturing, we rework or remake the part at our expense.
Finish, delivery, payment
Do you deliver raw, shot-blasted or painted?
As-welded by default. Shot blasting, painting or galvanising through partners, to be specified in the request and priced in the quote.

Can I collect my parts?
Yes, collection from the workshop is possible, by appointment.
How does payment work?
By invoice, on the terms stated in the quote. A deposit may be requested for a first order.
Do you work with private individuals?
We work with companies, design offices, craftspeople and self-employed professionals. Requests from private individuals are considered case by case.
