What we do, and what we do not do

A clear sheet to find out in two minutes whether your part fits within our scope. Values marked 'indicative' are confirmed case by case when the file is checked.

MaterialNon-alloy structural steel (S235, S355 type)
ProcessMIG/MAG welding (solid wire, shielding gas)
Joint typesStraight and circular fillet welds (tube on plate, stiffeners, gussets), automatic tacking before welding
ThicknessesPlates and sections of the usual thicknesses in welded fabrication, around 2 to 10 mm (indicative)

Dimensions and batches

Envelope of the finished partUp to about 1 m x 0.5 m
ComponentsLaser-cut parts that the robot arm can handle (a few kilos per component, indicative)

BatchesFrom a single part to a few hundred units

Tolerances, finishes and quality

TolerancesGeneral tolerances for welded constructions to EN ISO 13920, class agreed in the quote
InspectionDimensional and visual weld inspection before shipping

Not for now

  • Stainless steel, aluminium and other alloys
  • TIG welding and demanding full-penetration welds
  • Large structures and structural steelwork
  • Piping and pressure equipment
  • Parts larger than about 1 m
If your part falls outside this scope, we tell you straight away and, where possible, point you to a partner workshop. The scope will widen as the cell is developed further.

A STEP file is all it takes to get started.

Upload your assembly: instant 3D preview, indicative price, then a firm price once a technician has checked the file.
